Phrasal verbs: get round to

Shared by Aaron Boggis:

I've had to tell my group off for not sending me very much work (not too seriously😉) as some of them haven't got (a)round to starting the course yet and obviously keep putting it off.

The phrasal verb 'get (a)round to doing something' is really useful and it's something that happens to us all from time to time when we either can't find time to do something or we put it off as we feel apprehensive or apathetic about it. I'll give you some personal examples:

I never get round to sorting out all my paperwork.

I haven't got round to painting my bathroom yet.

I find it hard to get round to marking my school pupils' essays.

I finally got round to calling my sister this evening.

Please tell me what you never get round to, haven't got round to yet, find it hard to get round to or finally got round to.
